Steele has had studio experience with Mike Wanchic (John Mellencamp), Kenny Arnoff, Mike Flynn (producer of The Fray and Howie Day), Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), Aaron Gillespie (Underoath, The Almost), Thom Flowers (Bad Astronaut), Mike Plotnikoff (Adam Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance), Chris Fogel (Alanis Morisette, Aerosmith), and more.
Working in studios such as The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Encore Studios in Los Angeles, Echo Park in Bloomington, Indiana, as well as local studios such as Counterpoint, The Annex Recording Studios, Studio Red, and The Lounge.
Steele also received a Pearl Award for Best Studio Vocals in 2008.
